LAN / WAN Engineer, Senior

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Perform as a senior technical participant with knowledge and experience in local and wide area networking, communications, and related software/hardware within a multi-platform operating environment Responsible for the integration of a total network including the planning, design, installation, maintenance, management, and coordination of the corporate LAN/WAN Current on technological developments and applications, and evaluate vendor products to make recommendations for purchase Recommend network security and policies May work with Voice and/or Data Communications Analyst Position Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science or a related field, and five or more years of relevant experience Experience in LAN/WAN and Encryption Device technologies and their underlying protocols Strong Analytical Skills Ability to follow and adhere to SDLC ISO 15288 development guidance Familiarity with NIST 800-53, A&A, ICD-503 Attention to detail Organizational/Time management skills Teamwork Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time Required Certifications: MCSA (Win 10) or CCNA Certification Required Security+ Security Requirements: An active and current TS/SCI clearance is required. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
