Our client is looking for an excellent communicator with the ability to work and learn with a growing team for testing, optimization, and commissioning of our manufacturing process.
The Lead Automation Engineer is a key member of our scientific and technical team and will be involved in novel processes and solutions towards the production, quality assurance and optimization of advanced manufacturing of nanomaterials.
Our client is commissioning a new boron nitride nanotube (BNNT) reactor with a focus on manufacturing and scaleup for commercial deployment.
Short term goals for the Lead Automation Engineer will include:
? Reactor assembly and safety analysis? Batch-scale reactor validation ? Process control design and implementation? Integration of process control data streams with machine learning tools Long term responsibilities will include:
? Reactor parameter optimization for BNNT quality, quantity, and other variables of interest (with machine learning team)? Rollout of commercial production of BNNTs? Grant opportunity development for new technology applications? Design of new reactors to transition from batch to continuous processes? Expand reactor synthesis to other nanomaterials Applicants must have experience including chemical reactor design and calculations, automated process control system design, and safe laboratory operations.
Experience in nanomaterial fabrication, especially BNNT specific experience is not required but would be a strong plus.
This is an exciting opportunity for growth as a material scientist with further goals to learn and apply machine learning to the nanomaterial production process.
You will work closely with our Lead Research Chemist and Team to drive successful deployment of BNNTs as a commercial product, including optimization of chemistry based on end user needs.
Additional opportunities for learning and applying cutting edge material science R&D and product development, especially machine learning applied to material science, will be part of the growing opportunities for this role.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
